What is WeedMeOnline?
WeedMeOnline is an all-in-one cannabis companion app. It combines Bud — an AI cannabis concierge — with strain discovery, a dispensary and smoke shop finder, a private session journal, real web-discovered gear, pairings, cannabis news, local events, community chat rooms, and a video learning academy.
How much does WeedMeOnline cost?
Nothing — WeedMeOnline is completely free for every registered member. There is no trial and no subscription: creating an account unlocks the whole app, including Bud, the journal, pairings, and the Academy. You can also try Bud with three free questions on the home page before creating an account.
Do I need an account to use WeedMeOnline?
You can ask Bud three free questions and browse the public Answer Library without an account. Everything else — unlimited chat, personalized recommendations, the journal, favorites, alerts, and community — requires a free registration.
Do I have to be 21 or older?
Yes. WeedMeOnline is strictly for adults 21 and older. Age confirmation is required before using the app.
Does WeedMeOnline sell cannabis?
No. WeedMeOnline is a discovery and education companion — it helps you find strains, real local dispensaries, and gear, but any purchase happens directly with the licensed businesses near you.

What is Bud?
Bud is WeedMeOnline's AI cannabis concierge. He answers questions about strains, effects, terpenes, consumption methods, and more — researching real sources on the web and citing where his answers come from.
What can I ask Bud?
Anything cannabis-related: which strains fit a mood or goal, how terpenes and cannabinoids work, edible dosing basics, what to expect from different consumption methods, or where to find dispensaries near you.
Does Bud remember me?
With an account, yes. Bud learns your preferences, remembers past conversations, and reads your own journal and activity to tailor recommendations. He can also greet you with a personalized briefing and check in on how a strain worked out for you.
Does Bud know my location?
Only if you share it. If you allow GPS or type in a city or ZIP code, Bud uses it to suggest real dispensaries and shops nearby. He never invents a location or a business.
What is the Answer Library?
Popular questions asked to Bud become public, in-depth answer pages — researched from real cited sources, refreshed when they get stale, and free to read without an account. Browse it at any time under Answers.

How does the dispensary finder work?
Share your location or type a city or ZIP code, and WeedMeOnline shows real dispensaries near you on a live map — with live menus where available. Every listing is a real business; nothing is made up.
Are the dispensary menus real?
Yes — menus come from live listings of real dispensaries. Not every shop publishes a menu, so some listings show location and contact info only.
Can I find smoke shops too?
Yes. The smoke shop finder combines our own directory with live map data to show real accessory shops near you.
What is Weed Gear?
A gear section featuring real, purchasable products — grinders, vaporizers, storage, and more — discovered live from the web with links to where you can actually buy them.
What are Pairings?
A categorized library of things that pair well with cannabis — food, snacks, drinks, movies, shows, music, games, and activities. Browse community favorites, add your own, and share experiences in the comments.

Journal & profile

Your journal is your private cannabis diary — it earns you badges, powers your personal insights, and quietly makes every recommendation better.

What is the session journal?
A private log of your sessions: what you tried, how it felt, and what you would change. Over time it powers personal insights and helps Bud make better recommendations.
How do journal badges work?
Badges are earned automatically as your journal grows — starting with your first entry and continuing at milestones like 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 entries.
Is my journal private?
Yes — your journal is tied to your account and is not visible to other members. Your public profile only ever shows what you choose to share.
What builds my profile?
Your own real activity: strains you view and save, dispensaries you visit, journal entries, and conversations with Bud. Nothing on your profile is invented.
Can I share my bud profile?
Yes — your bud profile (bio, avatar, favorite strains) is shareable with the community, while sensitive details like tolerance and medical goals always stay private to you.

Talk strains in anonymous live chat rooms, learn the science in the Academy, follow real cannabis news, and find events happening near you.

What are the chat rooms?
Live community rooms where members talk strains, sessions, and culture in real time. You appear anonymous to other members — your identity is masked automatically.
What is the Academy?
A complete cannabis learning platform — structured courses, lessons, exams, and verifiable certificates covering terpenes, cannabinoids, consumption methods, budtender skills, and more. Every lesson has a free public preview, and the full training is included free with your registered account.
Where does the news come from?
The news feed imports real cannabis journalism from across the web, each article linked to its original source. Every article has a threaded discussion where members can comment and reply.
Can I find cannabis events near me?
Yes — the Events section lists real cannabis events discovered from the web plus community-added ones, scoped to your area.
Is there an ambassador program?
Yes — a limited ambassador program lets passionate members share WeedMeOnline with a personal referral code. Spots are capped, so check the Ambassador page for availability.

The Dispensary Portal is a separate business app: instant signup, your own storefront, and analytics built only from real member activity — plus a Founding Member program for early adopters.

I own a dispensary — what does WeedMeOnline offer me?

What does the Dispensary Portal cost?
The business subscription is $50/month or $500/year. Creating an account and exploring the portal is free.
What is the Founding Member program?
The first 5 dispensaries to ever join get a free-forever lifetime plan and a gold badge. Dispensaries that join on or before September 30, 2026 get their first year free plus an emerald Founding Member badge.
Are the portal analytics real?
Yes — every number comes from real member activity on your listing. New accounts see honest "collecting data" states until real activity arrives; nothing is ever fabricated.

Account & privacy

Your account, your data. Here is how password resets, cancellations, and privacy work on WeedMeOnline.

I forgot my password — what do I do?
Use "Forgot password" on the login page. We email you a secure, single-use reset link so you can set a new password yourself.
Is there anything to cancel or pay for?
No. Membership is free for every registered member — there is no subscription to cancel and nothing to pay. Your access never lapses.
What happens to my data?
Your journal, preferences, and conversations stay tied to your account and are used only to personalize your own experience. Public surfaces only ever show what you explicitly share.
